Tickets & entry
How do tickets work?
Tickets are sold through Stride Events. Advance tickets and egg-hunt reservations open November 1, 2026 at 10 AM Pacific. There are no timed-entry reservations or arrival-slot selections. Online purchases automatically save $2 per paid GA ticket; no promo code needed.
• Adult GA (13+): $20 • Child GA (4–12): $15
Save $2 per paid GA ticket when you buy online: adult $18 / child $13, plus Stride fees. Savings included automatically; no code needed.
• Children 3 and under: Free (ticket required)
• Two-Day VIP: Adults $75; Children $60 plus Stride fees. VIP includes early entry both days, one BUGTOPIA shirt, a tote bag, and a VIP lanyard.
Stride processing fees are added at checkout.
When can I enter?
Admission times are based on ticket type:
• VIP Entry: Saturday 9:00 AM | Sunday 10:00 AM.
• Advance Ticket Entry: Saturday 10:00 AM | Sunday 11:00 AM.
Once admitted, guests are welcome to stay until closing (Saturday 6:00 PM, Sunday 5:00 PM).
Can I buy tickets at the door?
Walk-up sales begin Saturday at 11:00 AM and Sunday at 12:00 PM only if same-day capacity remains.
Adult GA (13+): $20 • Child GA (4–12): $15
Save $2 per paid GA ticket when you buy online: adult $18 / child $13, plus Stride fees. Savings included automatically; no code needed.
Local gate sales do not include the $2 online discount. To ensure entry and save, we recommend purchasing advance tickets online.
Can I change or transfer my ticket?
Keep your Stride confirmation email for your tickets and order details. Contact the BUGTOPIA team using the form below for ticket changes or transfer requests. Ticket entry times are fixed by tier and do not require slot changes.
What is the refund policy?
Tickets are generally nonrefundable except where required by law or if the event is canceled or rescheduled. Review the terms shown during checkout.

What will be at the event?
Live insects, preserved natural-history specimens, rare plants, insect art and supplies, educational exhibits, workshops, and specialty vendors.
Are workshop and hotel details available?
The 2027 workshop schedule and official hotel information are coming soon.
How can I become a vendor?
2027 vendor applications are open. Booths are $225 Single, $325 Corner, $425 In-Line, $575 Endcap, and $1,050 Island. Electricity is $75 per booth and must be requested in advance. Booths include two badges for 1–2 tables and four badges for 4+ tables; additional badges are $15 each. The first vendor vehicle is free; a second vehicle is $30. An application does not guarantee acceptance or reserve a booth.
